Gateway to the Best "Pure"

Invitational Tournament

January 23, 2008

Tournament Details - main tournament website

Do you have one of the "Premier" teams in your age group from your area?  If the answer is yes, we would like to invite you and your team to participate in our 2008 "Gateway to the Best Invitational Tournament" to be held in St Louis, Missouri from June 19-22, 2008. We will host "individual" age groups 10U-14U.

This tournament is geared towards very strong "AAA, Major and Major Elite" teams only.

We have noticed in many of our own events as well as many others that there seems to be little competition for the stronger teams. Many stroll through their tournaments with a very high percentage of run rule games which while filling their rooms with awards isn't doing much to challenge their boys. This tournament is geared for teams that when entering a tournament, expect to win it. It for the coach who wants to better his team rather than pad their won/loss record. If you always check for a "Look who is Coming" list prior to entering to be sure that the tournament isn't too strong for your team or that the field of teams is weak enough that you feel you can win the event - this tournament is not for you.

This will be a small tournament ... we will only accept 6-12 teams per age group.  We only plan to accept one entry per state per age group (except in the 12 team age groups where we will accept no more than two per age group and place them in opposite pools).

We already have teams entered from Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Louisiana, Indiana, Kansas, Colorado, Tennessee, and Iowa plus serious inquiries from all of the country.

All teams will participate in opening ceremonies on the field at Busch Stadium prior to a Cardinals vs KC Royals game plus each team will receive three passes for the manager and two coaches to watch the game from a luxury party suite, food and drinks included.

If your team meets the criteria please come join us.  This will be a first class event, read below to see what all teams will receive.
